A digitization studio with the goal of helping to make as many memories immortal as possible. We are constantly learning and developing so that we can save our clients' unique memories and valuable information from as many media formats as possible, and work near-miracles with them during the restoration process.

This is how the story began:

The story started in 2009, when Balázs (one of the owners) needed a special solution: they wanted to create a music video for the grandparents from his partner's childhood slides.

Between the two, there was essentially a black hole. One had to weigh whether to say goodbye to a small fortune or risk the original recordings being ruined without a usable product.
It was then that Balázs decided to create his own digitization studio, where there are no compromises on service quality, yet prices remain affordable.

The first step required many months of learning and acquiring the appropriate equipment fleet. Thus, memory saving began in 2009, initially alongside Balázs's printing job, and then, after a few months, as a full-time occupation.

In 2010, thanks to Csabi, the one-man mission became a real business, and we established Emlékmentő Kft. in an office in District VII. We outgrew this place at a rapid pace in barely six months, then moved to Nyugati Square. With minor changes, our studio has been located here ever since. In 2014, we moved into Westend, where we were available to our customers 7 days a week with 6 colleagues.

Spring 2017 was another milestone; we outgrew the Westend premises, so we moved over to the Nyugati Átjáróház.

In 2017, we implemented major organizational changes, thanks to which we introduced a franchise business model in our studios, expanding beyond the country's borders.

What does the future hold?

We don't yet know which of our many plans will eventually materialize, but one thing is certain: our commitment to the professional, high-quality digitization of memories will not diminish!

Vásárhely Csaba

Csabi is the company's CEO. The formerly silent partner who urged Balázs to make Emlékmentő more than just a romantic hobby. In recent years, he no longer just leads from the background but his work forms an integral part of everyday life.

Varga Tünde

Tündi is our operations manager; she is responsible for workflows, logistics between our shop locations, and she is the chief video goddess. She encounters every video order and strives to return them looking better than we received them. She doesn't hesitate to watch a single tape in a dozen different VCRs to provide the best possible image quality.

Stier-Nemes Lenke

The company's Head of Communications. She is responsible for our PR and social media appearances (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), writes our blog articles, manages our online customer service, maintains our websites, deals with key partners, and also manages institutional offers and tenders.

Zsidai Zsuzsanna

Zsuzsi is the face of our company. As a customer service colleague, you can meet her in the shop, and most often she answers the phones as well. She has "something to do" with every job through administration, so you can confidently turn to her for help. In her free time, she loves photography and has an adorable doggy too.

Gál József

Joci is our sound engineer; at home, he edits and mixes electronic music, while at Emlékmentő he handles all audio-related machinery: He records vinyl records, cassette tapes, and reel-to-reel tapes, and he also filters them so our clients get back the clearest possible sound. He will surely encounter your audio order and will try to get the most out of it!

Forgács András

András started as an IT specialist, and he has dabbled in everything with us. Besides saving old materials, our mobile data recovery branch was launched with his help. He is constantly learning to know the systems of the latest devices; we receive very few phone-related inquiries that he cannot help with. He manages the 'Átjáró' shop at Nyugati, and now even major service providers and mobile phone shops send phones needing recovery to him.
